About
Margin Room is an independent reading utility. There are no accounts, leaderboards, affiliate links or recommended purchases. A page count is a planning aid, not a measure of a good reader.
Margin Room is an independent reading tool built around small, repeatable tasks. Its articles offer ways to plan a session, examine a passage, and keep notes that remain useful after the book is closed. They do not assign a reading level or treat speed as a measure of intelligence. A short poem, an unfamiliar argument, and an easy chapter can reasonably ask for different kinds of attention.
The examples here are invented for practice. They are deliberately brief, so you can check the reasoning without needing another book or an account. Use a paper notebook if that suits you, change the suggested times, and leave out exercises that do not match your purpose. The aim is a clearer next reading session, with honest notes about what you understood and what still needs work.
